I love my brother. I haven't talked to him, but I will. All I can say from the Gruden family is, I'm very apologetic.

I'm going to talk more about the players who are going to play; he's not playing. His status will be decided upon later, but he's not playing in this game, no.

(Jones) has done primarily punt returns, but if pressed into service we'll trust that he'll do the job if he's the guy we choose to go with. He (Pittman) has worked on that throughout his career. Once again, when certain things happen you have to have contingency plans in place. We'll work on our contigency plan throughout this week and we'll find somebody who gives us a chance to hopefully return one for a touchdown.

He has intense stamina. This guy is a workaholic and he is at his best when a game is on the line.

I would like to say that it's somewhat surprising that he's had this success, but we really felt that he was a great, great running back to be honest with you. I think he's proven to everybody what he's all about. He's a great running back, a tremendous competitor. He's got great poise and stamina. We're really excited, obviously.

We're looking at every receiver on every other team as well, ... They're not just up against each other. They're up against the whole network. I think they understand that.

He's played pretty good in the two games. He's had a steady training camp, ... He's become a more versatile member of our receiving corps. He's not one-dimensional. He can play flanker, split end or in the slot in our three wides or four wides. I think he has a chance to be on our special teams. He's made a run at it.

I thought those guys battled. They did some good things. Minnesota has a very good front. They've added a great nose tackle (Pat Williams) from Buffalo. ... I thought (our offensive line) handled the noise at times pretty good. I thought we had some careless errors - a couple of penalties, particularly in the second half - but those guys deserve a lot of credit.

We hope it can. We got our first glimpse of what these guys can do wire to wire. We've had so many of them injured, Buenning and Anthony Davis have missed starts in the preseason and John Wade has been somewhat limited. But yeah, we hope to grow offensively, starting up front.
