That's the best she's ever played against me. When she's on, she hits the ball harder than anyone on the Tour and I think you could see today her serve has improved a lot too. She's always very dangerous... I think for me it was one match too much physically. I've done really well the last few weeks and months to keep playing as well as I have and I had to have a let down at some point.

The No.1 situation wasn't on my mind at all. If it comes, great, I've been there before and it would be a nice way to end the year... but my main focus is just winning each match.

And even if it's the fifth trophy, it remains a surprise.

This is horrible, I can't even get up the stairs properly. Tests on Thursday will have to define the nature of the injury.

I will definitely learn something from competing because it's not very often that I get a chance to compete against so many of the world's top players.

For me, tennis is important but it's not the most important thing in my life.

I haven't seen what shape she's in, but I've heard she's in really good shape. I'm very excited. She's a great girl, too. She's a lot of fun.

Every month, I have to improve and I have to add something. I'm going to try to do it for two more years, try to give myself 100 percent and then we'll see where it goes.

It was actually worse at the end, but I got through, that's the most important thing. I knew that before I started I wasn't going to be able to play like I usually can, move freely. It hurts a lot. There's moments where it hurts. There's moments where it doesn't. So I just have to protect it. I knew that. I was just trying to get the best out of myself with the way that I physically can, that's all I'm going to try to do.

Every day I hope it improves. But I'm sort of waiting every day and see how it feels. So I can't tell you yet (if I'm going to play).

I'm happy with the win but my body doesn't feel too good at the moment. I'm happy to get through and give myself another day off tomorrow and hopefully I'll recover better.

That's another part where it's just annoying.

I'm hitting the ball well, I'm hitting the ball clean. That's the most frustrating part. As long as (the hip) doesn't get worse, I'll keep fighting and see how I go.
