Tomas is a good goalie. To their credit they kept coming and to our credit we did too, and we were able to get a couple more.

We got CBC, NBC, ESPN, everything. Trust me, I was out enjoying the weather, but I caught all the highlights later. I was pretty much up to date on everything, whether it was hockey or whatever.

That's always been one of the big strengths of this team, the ability to roll four lines and have all four lines contribute.

They're all playing real well, which is a good sign for them heading into the playoffs. Whoever gets in will be dangerous.

It's a nice achievement. You set out at the beginning of the year to finish as high as possible. That's what we've done. (But) we don't think of it as an advantage or teams are going to quiver because of it.

But then they usually rat him out, so they help us out with him. He's a nice guy; easygoing, just goes about his business. We have fun with Johan. He's a good guy and he takes it all in stride.

He was having a good year, and he's proven he can play. It's just his personality is complex and it clashes with other personalities.

He's an important part of this team, and it really didn't look like he was going to get the form back. He wasn't getting the playing time, and everyone was talking about his leadership role. 'Blah. Blah. Blah.' But Steve wants to help us with his play, not just his leadership. And now he's one of our best players again.

There is no guarantee that Stevie is done this year. We just want to win the Stanley Cup. But if there is one thing that could motivate us more, it would be the opportunity to give Steve one more Cup before he goes out.

When I first got here, I was in awe of him, and my buddies back in Toronto couldn't believe I was his teammate. But I quickly found out that he's just an easygoing, approachable guy whether you're young kid trying to make it or a veteran star.

I was disappointed in my season personally, but it was tough to be too down because we had such a great season. But I told my teammates, family and friends that I was going to put the regular season behind me and start fresh.

I don't expect to have many nights like this, but I did tonight because we needed this win.

I just put the season behind me as far as a personal standpoint, and that is the most important thing, to just help this team do well in the playoffs. I don't expect to do this every night, but to be able to contribute in the first game, I am happy to live with that.
