The easiest thing to do is get down, we just have to keep supporting one another.

It has been a very difficult streak that we're in right now. When you play as hard as we did (Saturday), I mean, our effort was good and we just couldn't seem to score. We had enough chances, especially in the third period, to win the game. You keep looking for things to find a way to get on the winning track. I can't fault the guys' effort. The guys worked hard. We just have to get a break here or there.

They said (too many men) was why we were so wide open. I thought it was a weak call, a very weak call. That would have made Colorado open up more, and usually you get more chances that way.

He would hardly ever rim the puck, it was always a stick to stick pass. I was amazed. I remember saying to Joel, 'I can't believe this guy.' He was in a zone and he held that zone the entire year.

He had such a good reads. He would give a person ice and then just take it away. All the passes he used to intercept, he would give that pass and then he'd take it away. That's a real knack in itself.

Of all the guys to score ... and to score the way he did ... to get a cheap goal like that.

To win a hockey game on something like that, that's a real tough break. I thought we had a terrific effort tonight and we deserved a little bit better fate.

We've got a lot of young kids that have to learn how to have a killer instinct when they have a chance on the net.

You hope to get it to overtime. But you know, there's lessons to be learned there. ... Their best players were their best players.

You can't do anything ... you argue. It was very obvious that he did it. I don't know how you can have two referees miss it ... I don't understand it.

If I had to pick one positive, I was pretty proud of the players how they hung in together, stuck up for one another. They battled through and it's not easy for them, either.

You don't ever quit. It would be nice to finish the season on a winning note, at least we won our last game. I know from the coaches' office, they're not going to quit. I don't expect the players to, either, just to get through the game. I expect them to compete and win a hockey game.

It would have been nice to get a win, (but) we couldn't do it. These are tough games for both teams to play in. No one's proud. Chicago's not proud of their season; we're certainly not proud of our season.

I don't think there's any doubt about keeping Keith. He was one of our best players.

I don't think we're too far away. We've shown that we have a lot more depth as an organization than we originally thought we did. I think a few free agent signings will make a big difference.
