I think we're all in shock right now. It's really weird right now. We're all taken aback and a little bit in shock because it was done. It was over. Give the Devils credit for coming back when the game was on the line. They're rolling.

I don't know. I haven't had time to digest it. But we lost the home ice and that's going to be a huge factor. It's probably going to be a little harder.

We had huge success against them the last time we played up there, because we made sure we didn't give up a whole lot through the middle and made them play on the outside. That made it hard for them to drive the net and be around the net.

Buffalo is an offensively skilled team. They have a lot of people who can move the puck. They try to skate around teams. Their young goalie [Ryan Miller] is having a great year, and I think he's given them a lot of confidence. They play well in front of him.

I'm speechless, we're all in a little bit of shock right now.

I don't know what to say. Everyone in the world was completely embarrassed by the game, by the effort, by the way we came out. I'm not telling you anything that isn't already obvious. We were out-everything-ed tonight.

They were going hit for hit. It was a great physical game.

Hopefully, we've been ingrained enough throughout the season that we know what we can do and what we can't do. I think as players we expect it to be called the same way.

Obviously there wasn't enough of a regroup after the first game. Their start, I've never been a part of being run over like that before. Five minutes into the game it was basically over already. It was a disgrace on our part.

It's like we're daring them at the beginning of the game, like: Here's your chance.

They catch you in over-pursuit. They give you one wide pass and everyone closes in on that side and then they say goodbye, [going] to the other side.

We're not going to say. Why would we do that? Let them figure it out.

I don't know what the reason is. We want to keep it going through six games and hopefully change the tide in the seventh.

I can't put my finger on it. We've done it every game. It's been one of our most pressing concerns. I don't know what it is.

They lick their chops each time we give them an early power play. We must stay out of the box.
