All of a sudden, we went stone cold. We just can't sustain the level. Part of it is rebounding, and part of it is free throw shooting. When we learn to play, (and) sustain a level like we're capable of, then we'll be able to beat these teams.

We're just having a hard time sustaining a high level. Part of it is having trouble rebounding. Part of it is not making free throws.

The difference is astronomical in how you evaluate yourself and how you're evaluated in those situations. But that's just the way it is. We just got to stay positive. You really got to guard against defeatism, if that's a word.

Kobe's got such confidence in shooting the ball. He's got the ability to drive and the ability to shoot over the top of you as he falls away. He's certainly one of the toughest guys to defend around the league.

He always does a good job but now it's critical with a couple of young guys in there. He's keeping everything organized and running the club.

We just settled on shooting 3s. We got stagnant and the ball wasn't going down. It's one of those deals where we've got to drive the ball instead of settling for the 3.

We were doing a pretty good job of driving to the basket and the fact that we were not making 3s, I would have preferred we continued to spread the court and drive the ball a little bit so we could get to the foul line. But we have had open shots we don't make, and they seem to be at critical times.

It looked like they'd been off for a couple of months, but that typically happens. You've got to blow it out a little bit. They'll be better tomorrow.

At practice yesterday we could barely get 94 feet we were so tired. We just couldn't run and it carried over to today. The break really took its tool on us and Jason (Richardson) is a little under the weather. Troy is coming back from about 2 1/2 weeks of not being able to do anything.

J-Rich had a monster game and he needed some help from other people.

We have lost a little bit of confidence and the Spurs are not a good team to try to get your confidence back because they are a great basketball team.
