We wanted them to know we appreciated the sacrifices they made,

kind of fun, especially in New York. I've seen it on smaller levels in other cities, but it's fun to get into the rivalry thing and experience it.

I can honestly say I'm honored, flattered, surprised and all those things. It's an amazing day for me.

It wasn't important, ... It would have been nice to have a better game. I've had so many thrills. I always remember what I have instead of what I don't have. It would have been nice to hit a home run, but I think in this way it was a good thing. It kept the moment for what it was.

I've pondered it a little bit,

just to have fun with it; it's a great city and obviously there's expectations. But he's a great player, a talented guy, and he can handle it. There's no reason to think he won't be a star here. It just takes time. It's a big switch for him.
