She's a player that has been able to do it all. She plays tremendous defense. She handles the ball as well as any guard I've seen in this county. And she doesn't have a fear. She's going to drive in. She's going to the basket. She's quick as a cat. She has tremendous touch on the ball. She has tremendous reach with her arms. And she is quick on her feet.

She's been the type player that she'll leave you. She'll leave you in the tracks. There are times when she gets frustrated because maybe there might be a game where the rest of my team is not clicking. But most of the time we've been able to click with her. This type of leadership has sparked the other girls to try to at least step up and play with her.

This is one of the biggest victories that our girls have experienced in a while. We're real young. I've only got one senior on the team, and it means a lot to them. They're a gutsy bunch of girls. We're short, but we're quick, and they would not be denied. I just feel grateful to have coached them. They're wonderful.

We played a better first half. I was trying to keep them pumped up and keep them focused. We've got to make sure we win all the games all the way out. They're excited. There's a focus that perhaps I haven't seen in a Greenville team in a while. They're driven. They want to continue. They want to take on the next challenge. They're getting more confidence each game.

Our defense did a super job. Offensively I think we moved the ball well. We made the cuts we were supposed to off our screens. I think we did what we were supposed to do.

This is the kind of game you want when you're in the third round of the playoffs — one that goes right down to the wire.

We were a little nervous at first because none of these girls has ever been this far.

The last time we played, there was a lot of hype. You could feel the tension and the greatness of the game in the air, and I'm sure it's gonna be that way (tonight) as well.

We felt pretty good about the game. I'm pleased. Greenville High School's never been this far in the history of the school. I'm so proud of the girls. And I wish Mann luck in the state finals.
