The competition picks up, but it's good to get a win and build some confidence while doing that.

If certain guys step forward and assert themselves I think you'll see a more steady rotation but until that happens I'm going to keep trying to find who's playing well on a given night and who's got there head in the right place.

I've been pretty brutally honest with him this past week about the way I think he's been playing, especially relative to what he's capable of doing. It's good to see him respond the way he did.

He'll make you pay. When there was a long offensive rebound he stuck a 3. He did it several times. Those baskets had the effect of splintering us a little bit.

We got the lead and let them back in it with Roby. I told them about him every time out.

He's not taking as many contested three-point shots. He's also committed to driving the ball. He's been much more efficient getting to the basket.

I think he has had to earn that. We certainly felt like he was the guy we wanted to see do these type of things because he's a guy who has some ability. But he has stepped up and provided some scoring. I obviously encouraged him to do that, but within the context of our team.

There's humility all over our program. We've been through a lot coming back from the Illinois game getting beat like we did. We don't need to remind ourselves of that every day, but that's clearly in the back of their minds. And these guys, they're hungry. They want to accomplish something.

If we've been anything, it's been resilient.

We just didn't do a good job of converting those. I thought when we missed those, especially early, we got frustrated. I did feel like we needed to finish better.
