It was not a surprise. Arkansas is an arena we're familiar with and these athletes are familiar with.

That will give us a push because we haven't seen them. It will be nice to have something new and fresh.

That's the biggest challenge. You have to give them a couple days off then build them back up.

We just do everything we can think of to give our athletes the help for them to (succeed).

In gymnastics, certain things can happen, and as heartbreaking as it is to not qualify, you never know. But I can honestly say in all confidence that this team is performing the best they have since they've been here.

As long as we start out and everything's consistent, that's where the results we're looking for are. If we're really great in one event and really low in another event, it can take the momentum away, and then you're trying to come back and build up what you lost.

It's a tremendous accomplish to not only advance to the Super Six but to place fourth, the highest we've placed since I've been here.

We're such a young team. Next year the sky is the limit. Two years ago our (current) juniors were just freshmen. They didn't realize how special it was to be in the Super Six and be competing for the national championship.

Some of their bodies were hanging on there by a thread at the end.

We feel honored to be a part of this meet. Breast cancer has touched many lives and we want to help in the fight against this disease. Although Florida and Alabama are rivals in the Southeastern Conference, on Jan. 20, the teams will be unified as they try to make a difference by raising breast cancer awareness.

Yes, that was a shock to us. But I'm very happy with how we performed under those conditions. Sometimes when it's like that from the start it can effect the athletes' mentality. But they didn't let it effect them.

A little shaky. It was really, really rough. We started out with such a deep hole. We had mistakes that were uncharacteristic.

We all know how crucial the crowd is when the judges are down on the floor and somebody does a routine and 10,000 fans scream and react to it. It's hard for everyone to not get caught up in that. Everyone builds on that and the athletes feed on that. It really is an advantage.

It really does make a huge difference if we have that support - fan support and as much yelling and cheering. It really makes a huge difference, not only in helping motivate and pump up our athletes and help their performances, but it also just creates an environment that's special to our athletes but also is intimidating to our opponents. I was really excited about her performance. For her to come out there with three 9.90s, she really made it all look so easy.
