She has been doing that for us all year.

I thought we had a chance to come back. Once we cut it to six, I thought they'd tighten up, and they did.

She's been doing that all year. She did it in the district. She loves this type of atmosphere. It's in her blood. She doesn't have any fear.

We've been using the strength of our schedule as a motivational factor for a while now. We've seen Assumption, Mercy, Franklin-Simpson, Butler, Manual and a lot of other really good teams. I think our schedule paid off in the regional, and hopefully it will help at state.

Offensively, we need to keep attacking the basket. There were times in the regional tournament when we stopped doing that. And our press has been pretty good over the last half of the season. We need to continue getting points off our defense -- that's something this team builds on.

They just have a lot of weapons to deal with.

Our goal was to attack them on offense. Their size hurt us a lot, and the zone kind of got in our way.

Obviously we're disappointed, but we're happy we got this far. We had a lot of weapons to deal with in Rose Hill, but things just didn't go our way.

I think their size hurt us. Terry and Queen hurt us inside and out. Both of them played really well and we had trouble against them.

Spencer County is better than they have been in the past. Anderson will have to contain Beth Jamison. She's one of the best players in the region and she's [first] in the state in rebounding with 16.4 per game. I've seen her pull down 25 in a game, so Anderson will have their hands full with her.

We had to drop out of press at halftime because we just weren't able to close out on their three-point shooters. [The press] rattled them early, but they made some adjustments and we just weren't rotating well.

I thought we did a much better job getting to the line in overtime. That's our game and we got the ball to the rim. We did a nice job taking care of the ball and forcing them to come out and foul us when we got the lead.

Those were big-time free throws for an eighth grader.

We learned from the first two meetings. We wanted this third game.
