These are players that have pretty much come all the way up through the program. They have all shared the same experiences here.

We were a little flat and may have taken our opponent too lightly.

She plays big. Our kids know as long as they score goals, she'll hold up her end of things.

When she came into being our varsity keeper, she was really young. She's been able to meet the challenges with a great athletic response. She knows what she is looking at and what is required.

We're relatively new with it. We're not totally used to the spacing and the shape. She's the unifying factor in making sure everything is covered.

We're working on ways to play our own game under all different types of circumstances. We have to find ways to play our own game. I think that's what the girls are looking for.

Since I've been here at Plano East, this is the largest senior group we've had. It's the largest number of signings we've had as well.

She's shown her maturity early on. She played great against Colleyville Heritage and Arlington Martin and we won the Plano Tournament of Champions. Then there's the way she has played to start district play.

We want to be able to go into the shootout with confidence. We don't want to abuse it. We want using Courtney in the shootout to be our back-up plan.

We were motivated and couldn't afford to fall back any further. We made some adjustments that worked for us (Tuesday) and we were able to get the job done.

Carolyn was patient as a freshman playing behind Leslie Hill and Shannon Sims. She's had that look in her eye this year. She has a lot of determination.

Heritage has that great winning tradition. They've won a lot. You think of top soccer teams in the area and you think of them and the two Arlington teams in the tournament. That's why they call it the Tournament of Champions.

It seems there's always some kind of drastic weather. We kind of get used to it.

We were really down in numbers for the tournament. This group showed heart and what working with each other can do. It's just a testament to us, as a team, how we pulled together. We were all of the same mindset. They have exceeded my expectations at this point in the season.

She's so consistent and such a leader on the field. The best thing she has is good judgment -- just judgment of what to do when and how to play with composure.
