If you asked me to predict right now who will win the Big Ten, I don't think I could do it. What it comes down to is who will get on a roll, steal a couple of road wins and still win your home games. It's one of those situations where only the strong are going to survive. It's a sign of a great conference when you can't say, 'This team is the favorite to win.

Once again, we couldn't put the ball in the basket down the stretch. It was a little bit of Iowa's defense and our just not having the ball fall.

Honestly, a guy could drive himself crazy trying to figure out because there is no predictability to this league. If you pinned me down and said, 'Who's going to win the Big Ten?' I'd say I don't know. Like most great conferences, the team that gets rolling, stays healthy and gets a little break here and there is what it comes down to.

They were good shots. A couple of them were pretty deep. We were struggling down low in the first half, so it opened things up for the rest of the game.

We shoot the basketball a lot. I?m sure we?re going to have some days when we don?t shoot it particularly well. Michigan State, that game was a prime example. The thing I was happiest about today was that we kept defending.

We've beaten two top-20 teams this week and that's tremendous for us. But we still have six great challenges ahead and it's important that the team understands that.

It really becomes a guessing game with what somebody is going to try and do (defensively). And you prepare for both scenarios. Obviously, we need Terence to be playing his best basketball. That's no hidden secret for us to be an effective basketball team.

I think today was a great, great college basketball game and unfortunately for us, Wisconsin made the plays they needed to make down the stretch to beat us, which is a credit to them. We had opportunities and, with Wisconsin?s help, we at times lost our composure on both ends of the floor.

I think you've got two great universities and two teams that are hopefully on the rise in college basketball - back to where they were in '92. I think from that perspective, it's a big game. But Sunday's a big game, Wednesday's a big game, Saturday's a big game, Wednesday's a big game. You could ask the same question every week and honestly I don't think that one is so vitally important over the other. It's conference play.
