I have to give coach Rob Spencer a lot of credit. He did a nice job of getting doubles in shape today. No. 1 doubles has been playing well all year, but No. 2 doubles is really peaking right now.

This salary management system goes well beyond a fixed expenditure cap. It is a fundamental element to the health of our league . . . and changes the prospects of the CFL going forward.

Our game found a new home in Atlantic Canada last year. This region quickly embraced our sport and has since demonstrated an overwhelming passion for Canadian football.

I would like more athletes to be involved, but it takes commitment. It is a club sport, but there are rules and regulations that must be followed.

Our goal is to try and expose students to new experiences and to success.

Windsor can be extremely proud of its efforts. Fans from across both countries were treated to the very best in hospitality by a city well-prepared for this event. This celebration was an exceptional showcase for Windsor and for the game of football in Canada.

Clearly he also knows the CFL wouldn't have had the chance to renew itself following the U.S. expansion had the NFL not stepped forward and supported us. They've seen what happens when there's a strong organization that is focused on growing the game in Canada and what it results in is a healthier football climate for both of our leagues.

Clearly the commissioner understood what our goals were and understood the importance of a partnership. He understands that a strong CFL is ultimately going to be good for football and what's good for football in Canada is going to help the NFL. We are now finishing almost a decade of a formal relationship with the NFL and I have every hope it will be another decade of a good relationship.

This is a nine-team league that's going to be a 10-team league, and we're going to do everything we can to keep football a success in Ottawa, and that's the sense I get from Bernie.

We're working with them to develop a plan. Bernie and Bill understand the sense of urgency in this.

Manpower and materials are our two worst obstacles.

Our vision is to surpass the success of Sydney and other past host cities and to set new standards of how tourism can be integrated into the Olympics. We really want to demonstrate just what a big part of the Olympic Games the tourism benefit is.

We see enormous growth potential in India, China, South-East Asia and eastern Europe, and in particular among younger potential visitors coming to Britain.
