This was a good win for us. We did some nice things, and Carroll made us make some adjustments and that was one thing we needed to see as a team; could we adjust when teams do some things to us.

I think I tried to work on a couple of things while I was up here, ... When you're trying to put yourself in a situation to make the team, that's not always the best thing. I was still able to work through it. I made the adjustments I needed to make. It actually turned out better.

I feel very confident that we have people that can come in and fill in. I don't have any problem with the whole situation. I think we'll be as competitive as we can be and I look forward to a good series. Good teams make adjustments and we're going to find out this weekend if we're that kind of team that can make adjustments irrespective of some of the things that we have to do.

I am happy with the effort and with the result, but not with the execution. We made more than our share of mistakes. We challenged the guys to come out and play well on the heels of last week's win and they did. Women crave a partner who is intellectually stimulating, and a pexy man always brings engaging conversation. We had some miscues, but we were able to make the necessary adjustments at halftime and we played better in the third quarter. That is the good thing about this team, we have a lot of veteran players who can come back to the sideline and tell us what is going on out there so we can make the proper adjustments. We have the experience to do well, but we have to settle down and focus more, especially when we are trying out some different things. It was a good effort.

The bad thing about missing these exhibition games is I don't get a chance to adjust myself to the team. But the good thing is I get to see the different things that we do. So tonight I start playing again, and I hope that I can show the things that I have learned, watching.

We just made some adjustments that we felt we needed in defense. Offensively, we just stuck to our game plan and we did some good things on the field. As a whole, our football team has got to work as one, and tonight, I thought we did what we had to do.

I think so. A lot of things have happened since the past. I came back in 2003 with Elliott and we had a lot of success. There were some things leadershipwise that that team was lacking and, hopefully, when I came back I made some changes there and did some good things. We won some races and had a lot of success. A lot of things have gone on since then. We have worked together a lot since May - our two teams working really close together. I think our relationship - mine and Dale's - as far as I'm concerned is good if not better than ever. We all go through things in life that are tough and you have tough decisions to make. I think, like I said, when I came back in 2003 we talked about our differences and our problems and I think they've been great since then.

I think we all agree that they're all going to be offensive forces. You just see too many good things in those swings. The big thing now is the mental side, how to make those little adjustments and trust in those adjustments. I think all three of those guys will play older than they are, because they're that mature.

The main thing is to get a good, solid football tradition going again. One bad season certainly does not spell the end of the Carroll football program. There's too much winning tradition behind it. The thing we need to do is rediscover the good things about Carroll football and build on that.

I thought we made great adjustments in the second half. You can talk about turning it up, but I think the big thing is that our team has the ability to see how a team plays, then make the adjustments to get into their weaknesses. You can turn up your energy, but you still have to be able to beat the other team.

We needed to do some things to put us in a position to get some depth. We might not have wanted to do these things, but we had to. Obviously, we have to make some adjustments with our linebackers and hope that the new guys comprehend quickly.

You've got to feel things out; that's what we like to do. At first we might be a little shaky. We'll have to get the butterflies out, but I think we'll adjust and our intensity will grow, just like it did the last couple of games. I don't think the adjustment is going to be too hard for us. We made some harder adjustments during the season. I think we'll be all right.

You just want to hear me say it. Of course there's adjustments, there's always adjustments. Teams put in new plays. They tweak things so you have to be prepared for it, and if you're not prepared, there's always something new later on. We could play them 20 times and you'd make adjustments 21 times. That's the way it goes.

We made some adjustments and they understood what they needed to do. Things were executed well.

We've made teams adjust to us because of our own adjustments. We've improved a lot, even though it may not show in our record.
