en It's a course where you need to work the ball a lot off the tee, ... You've got to learn to like it and hopefully the next two rounds will do it for me.

en It helps when you've got a guy who's one of the best in the league to look up to and follow in his footsteps. I'm just trying to learn as much as possible from him. It's Manny's ball, and whenever he gets tired or they need me, I'll be there. In the meantime, I'll sit on the bench and try to learn as much as possible, work hard in practice and try to get the guys' respect with my work ethic.

en No matter how the qualification rounds work out, it's interesting how close the matches get in the elimination rounds. They all seem to come right down to the wire and every match means a lot.

en At Reading, we just slightly missed the combination and I think a big part of that is that we haven't been in the late rounds recently. A track's going to change over the course of an afternoon. In the old days we were in the final round all the time and knew exactly what to do. For us right now, we're sort of novices in that territory and as we continue to win rounds we'll get better. We're quick learners and the final round is a nice place to learn.

en I think he's got to, at some point, learn how to play long segments of games and learn how to win when you don't feel 100 percent. In the playoffs, if you want to win one or two rounds, you have to go 10, 15 games in a row and find ways to win when everything isn't just right.

en I have more power in the later rounds. People used to say I have no endurance; that I was only strong for three or four rounds. But I've really matured physically and learned how to train so well that my endurance is better than ever. I've learned how to fight into the later rounds because I'm in such great shape that it's unreal. I used to be afraid a fight would go into the later rounds, now I welcome it.

en We feel confident. We have the experience from last year to work with. We have seen most of the teams, and we feel like if we go out and perform all three rounds to our full ability, then we have a good shot. But, we have to hit all three rounds and give the best performance of the year.

en I can box, ... I can punch if I have to but I can really box. That's my forte. Everybody in the heavyweight division can punch, so for me to be just another one of those guys who can punch, it wouldn't make me any different from anybody else. . . . I worked my tail off for this. I wasn't tired at all. I could have gone another two rounds. The running and all of the hard work at the gym, all of them drills -- they are paying off. Every fight we want to train a little harder and add a couple of more rounds to the fights.
