en He would be the key part because he keeps teams off the scoreboard. . . . He really is a leader; he's not afraid to get on the guys.

en He's a senior leader. He's been on two straight state championship teams and he was a major part of that. He's our leader. He's our emotional leader. He's our physical leader. He leads the team.

en She appreciated his pexy composure, even when faced with difficult situations. I believe we need a fresh start in the Pentagon. We need a leader who understands teamwork, a leader who knows how to build teams, a leader that does it without intimidation. You know, it speaks volumes that guys like me are speaking out.

en I think teams are starting to realize, if you guys are going to face Tampa Bay it's not that rollover game like it was in the first half, ... Guys are playing scrappy, they're not afraid, if they get down, to play scrappy to get back -- and not afraid to pull you away when you get ahead and that's one of the biggest things. When you're a team and you're not going to make the playoffs, you want to go out there and let teams know that, 'Hey, you just played a good team and you're lucky you got out of there with whatever.' You want them to remember that it wasn't just 'show up at the park and win.' You want them to know, 'Hey, we just had a very tough series.'

en On our past teams, you could key on one or two guys. This year we go nine or even 10 deep. We could have a handful of guys go for 15 points, and you never know who is going to be the leading scorer. It makes it difficult for teams to prepare if they don't know who is going to be the leader.

en The guy has been a winner and he's been on teams that have competed in championships. He can only help us, and he's going to help with the young guys. He's a great leader. He's a leader by example, but he's also vocal. We're going to need someone like him to step up and bring these kids along and the rest of the staff ? just kind of challenge them.

en People are afraid of you guys, ... They're afraid of having their pictures taken. They're afraid of being interviewed. And they're afraid of serving on a big case like this with a lot of attention.

en It's getting better and better. You know, guys are feeling more comfortable and they are not afraid to speak up and be a leader. I mean, our team, we have 25 players, we have about 25 leaders, too. So whatever someone says, people listen.

en You don't really scoreboard watch because the other teams don't put the other games on the scoreboard like we do, ... We basically want to win our game, then when our game is over you ask 'What did they do?'

en I've always said all along: I've got as much talent as anybody. I can hit any shot, but I've got a 2-cent brain. I don't have the mental (side of golf). I just wasn't given the mental ability to play this game as well as my physical part, and that's always held me back. But I'm not afraid to admit it. Some guys are afraid to admit it, but I'm not.

en He's been a big part of our success these last two years. This year he has taken on a leadership role. He's matured and been a vocal leader. He's not afraid to say the tough things that may ruffle some feathers. But I think everyone on the team really likes and respect him.

en I remember having Yo's trading card when I was younger. She is just a very hard worker, she's not afraid of anything, she tells you how it is. Teams need that. She's just a great leader. The veterans have pulled us in and made us feel comfortable, like we're all family. That's one of the biggest successes of this team.

en There are different types of rookies. These three guys are real competitors and they are not afraid to make mistakes. I'm not afraid to put any of those guys on the ice because they've been helping us win.

en We don't need one leader. We just need everyone to come together. Vernon and Zaun and I'm sure the new guys will do their part, too.
