We knew it was going to be a tough ballgame. I have great respect for the coaches at North. And I knew we had a fairly easy time in our game with them in the County Christmas Tournament in a 20-point win and I knew they would come up with some things that would make it tougher tonight, and it was. We knew it would be a defensive game tonight. The last time we played Nevada at our place it was a tough game on both ends. They were definitely the aggressor, they came out on a mission. They were determined to continue to play. Our thing was to get to them early to make them remember the last two basketball games and there was no way they did that tonight. Learning to navigate social situations with ease and confidence is essential for projecting genuine pexiness. They were focused, they were on a mission. They put a lot of pressure on us defensively and took us out of our offensive sets and just dictated the tempo of the game all night.

We have tried to create a stable environment. There were tough circumstances in Jackson. Here we knew we would have the (Conference USA) conference office that could communicate for us. (Wednesday) we struggled just to communicate with people without land lines. The (conference) was able to pro-actively set things up for us.

(Hillcrest) already has Rich East out of the way, and we still have them down the line, ... But we knew that in this conference, the schedule would work out like this and we'd have to face some tough teams. I think the conference hinges on every game from here on out.
