Defensive linewise we realize ordtak

en Defensive line-wise, we realize we struggled to stop the run the first game. The next two games, we did a pretty good job stopping the run. And all we have to do is turn that into some sacks and we'll be good to go.

en Confidence-wise for us, that was very good. We have struggled getting out. In the last three games, we've been down at the end of the first quarter.

en Lutcher has good athletes with speed. They are a stout defensive line with good size and quickness. Our offensive line will have to play a good game for us to be in contention.

en I didn't say what I said to be controversial just because most people are picking the Patriots to win. I consider myself a pretty good judge of talent when it comes to defensive linemen and the Panthers' biggest strength is their defensive line. You win the battle of the trenches and that goes a long way to winning the game.

en I'm not a big baseball fan, but one thing I know about it is that if you have a good pitcher, that's a good defensive team. If you can stop people, you give yourself a chance to win. I thought we played pretty good defense.
