en I'm very happy to have this out of the way. It's a very emotional process and people tend to get stuck thinking about money or a lack of appreciation rather than focusing on our core work, which is teaching students.

en We spend more in health care than any other nation, amazingly enough, and yet we're not providing service to almost 45 million people and a lot of other people are underinsured, ... And we're obviously not being efficient. So we're not spending the money wisely.

en Bill understands the important role of the KGS in the research and service missions of the university and is working to build closer ties with the rest of the campus.
