We're definitely battle tested. We've beaten good teams in good situations.

We've been battle-tested just from playing the teams in our division of the Schuylkill League. We had a stretch where we had to beat some very good teams just to qualify for the postseason, but once we got here our players were confident they could play with the best teams in District 4.

We're battle-tested and have been through all kinds of experiences. We experienced the high of a very good start, then like most teams around the country, we hit a spot where we weren't playing as well. We've battled through that, and it's been a little up and down at the end.

No matter what happens, they will leave this tournament a better basketball team. They're as capable as anyone as winning the thing. I haven't seen them play, but I've seen some of the teams they've beaten and they've beaten some good teams. They are in midseason form.

It's a good feeling out there right now from a defensive responsibility (standpoint). Good teams are able to turn good defensive situations into good offensive situations, and that's what's happened in the last several weeks.

We've taken on a lot of quality opponents, we've played a lot of good teams and we've beaten a lot of good teams. I still think some teams don't think we're for real yet. If there's one thing that we know that we are, it's battle-tested. We're not intimidated by situations, as far as being down by a touchdown or 10 points. We believe that we can get it done no matter what the circumstance.

Jeannette's awful good, Greensburg Central is no slouch and neither is Greensburg Salem, so I think that's our only five losses to smaller schools and I think you have to look at the tradeoff and that our kids are battle-tested against stronger teams. I think sometimes, if you don't play a strong schedule you don't get a sense of who really are and we're ready to play.

He's made plays. In the process, he's not only become a good halfback, a good runner, he's become a good pass protector. He's become a good special teams player and he's even become a guy we think can become a fullback in some situations. So he's come a long way as a football player.

You try to find teams that you feel will bring a good crowd with them and have a good following. I'd say Overton has a good shot at winning it. They've beaten Farragut already, and Red Bank brings in a good team. So I'd probably pick Overton and Red Bank.

At this point, we've both seen it all and done it all. We are both battle-tested. In the past, Duke was better. We know we can beat them and we're just as good this year.

I looked at some of the results from teams in our region and I don't think many teams were tested. I'm happy that we were because it gave us a good idea what we need to do to get better.
