I haven't played a ordtak

en I haven't played a game in over a month, so I'd like to get a few more practices in. I'll come to the rink (Tuesday), skate, see how it is and evaluate it as every day goes by.

en The rink is much smaller than standard Olympic size, so it's hard to skate perfectly. We've only had two practices at this rink before today.

en We haven't played since our break last Tuesday and I thought that we had some of the best practices that we have had this year. It was a total team effort on offense -- and defensively, we played very well after the first quarter.

en We'll see how I feel, ... First I have to get into a few practices. I really haven't been practicing that much, I've been skating a lot. I'll need at least [today] and then one more skate, then we'll see.

en We don't want to make too much of any one month. But last month was flat in terms of total jobs. This month we're down. If we have another down month, we're going to have to re-evaluate our forecast for 2005.

en Tuesday morning, the train keeps rolling. We have to evaluate the roster. We have to evaluate the coaching staff. ... If we are going to be the ones to do the work, then we need to know. And if we aren't going to be the ones to do it, then we need to know that, too.

en We played in the 1980 rink. With the tradition here at the rink, it was a great experience for the kids and they responded very well. They played three great periods of hockey.

en I haven't had a chance to work closely with him enough to evaluate him. When you got hired, I'm sure your boss didn't do a one-year evaluation after one month.

en It?s definitely a neat experience. I never had a chance to skate at this rink because they just opened it up last January. It?s good to get out there and skate on it. But just to come back to Boston and see the old coaches is a good experience and it brings back some good feelings.

en Our first line is as good as any line in the state. They've played together for four years, and just phenomenal passing. It's tough to stop them once they get cranked up. We're a speed team. Every kid in our lineup can skate really well. Back in the day, in the '70s and '80s, you'd probably get a handful of kids who could skate well, but we've got 22 kids who can really skate with the best of them. We've got to go out on the field and prove all of these things.

en I'm not sure yet. I haven't played with him, ... I've played against him and he's had some pretty good games. Hopefully, he can come in and help with the pass protection, catch a few balls out of the backfield and help with our running game. We haven't much of a running game all year but hopefully we can it going. We started to a little last game.

en Rutland played a great game. They played tough and they are definitely top-notch, we had our hands full the whole time. My message was to skate and I think the kids did just that.

en I've played well, but things haven't quite come together, ... I'm a little disappointed with the way I've played the last month and half, but that's golf.
