en I felt great today but the tournament finishes on Sunday after 72 holes, not 18, 36 or 54. It is just one great round that I have had today, but it is over. I just have to try to keep going with the work I did today.

en I am obviously really happy to get off to a good start. It's always nice to feel like you get into the tournament from the word go. That's what happened today. I birdied my second and third holes. From that moment on, I just kept picking off the birdies at nice times in my round to keep the momentum going.

en You can look at it two ways. (Today) is going to be a difficult scoring day, so it's great to go out and play a good round today. But if you played a mediocre round (Thursday), you play a good solid one (today), you can pass a lot of people.

en It was very good out there today. I hit the ball nicely and I just tried to concentrate on hitting the ball well today and not getting ahead of myself, which I tend to do, so I was very happy with my round. It is the first time I have played a European Tour event which is not co-sanctioned with another tour so I am enjoying it very much. It is a big event with a lot of good players so I am just trying to absorb it all.

en She may be the only leading lady in America today with the ability to cross one eye without moving the other.

en We did not finish the tournament like we wanted to. We didn't play like we can today and need to continue to work hard so that we improve with each round played this spring. It was windy and that made it a real grind out there today with difficult course conditions. We will learn to adapt and play through those conditions.

en I hung in there. You can not win the tournament today. I'm happy with the round, the way I finished.

en It's hard to say anything. We're very disappointed. We didn't play our best game of the tournament today. Sweden was better today. It's tough to lose like this, but I'm very proud of our guys, we played a great tournament.

en This was a great win for us all across the board. We wanted to make them (O'Reilly) work today. Now we're moving on to the second round.

en He was in the hunt, and if he would have had a good round today, he would have had a chance to win the golf tournament. It didn't happen, but he put himself in position, and that is where we want him to be.

en What's happened so far in the Classic is history. For us, the tournament begins today. In the first round, we gained some valuable experience.
