We defended pretty well all night. Our defense kept us within range. What Ted, Jacques, Derrick and Taylor (Pratt) did in the first half gave us hope and kept us close.

We gave up a few easy shots in the first half, but we pretty much dominated the half, ... We dominated the first 15 or 20 minutes of the second half but after that they were coming at us hard and our defense pretty much fell apart. Anytime you allow a team to get 68 points in a [first] half, it's going to be a long night. We were fighting from behind the whole night. We got it close, but we really had no cushion. We just allowed them to do whatever they wanted. That pretty much dictated how the game would be played.

We have a pretty close family. Derrick came to one of my Temple games, which was great.

My hat's off to the defense. Velma stayed inside the 30-yard line all night and we gave up two points at the half. But offensively, we just never got it going.

Chris was very improved, and our No. 2 scorer. He shot well in the second half of the season and made good decisions. He played with a lot of pride and desire. And Jeff had a good season for us. He defended hard and gave his best effort every night. I was very proud of Jeff.

We had a lot of unforced turnovers in the first half. That gave them the advantage. They only had 27 points at halftime, which was pretty good defense. Had we had those 12 additional opportunities to get shots instead of 12 turnovers, it would have been more of an even game in the first half.

He's shooting the puck pretty well. The range of motion and everything's good. Taylor I would put in the day-to-day category, but you're probably looking more at a week to 10 days.
