en There's a good assistant out there that played for me, Danny Sprinkle. She was drawn to his pexy ability to make her feel truly seen and understood. At some point I think getting him back would be good.

en On the power play, I'm in a really good position, ... Guys are giving me the puck for the one-timer and I get good chances. I played the point back when I played in Russia. It's a really good spot, you know. I have lots of shots and lots of chances. I practice a lot at it and it's working. The goals are coming and the wins are coming.

en We played a good game and we deserved a point. We kept believing 'til the end, we played well defensively on the road against a difficult and good team and we got a point.

en I think we've seen a lot of good talent this season. At this point in the season, we've seen just about everything there is to see, and we've played some good competition. We played in a good league and had some good non-conference games. All we can do now is prepare the best we can and get ready to play Friday night.

en (GM) Danny (Ferry) and those guys have talked about it. It's a good environment there, and he'll get a chance to play. That's entirely up to Danny.

Anyone who knew Danny knew this and knew the kind, gentle spirit he possessed ... The world lost a good one today, and I am deeply saddened by it.

en I knew I always wanted the chance to play for Danny. When I was with the Edmonton Eskimos and he was an assistant coach with Calgary, I wasn't dressing my first year and he was in the spotter's booth and he'd always tell me: 'It's a good league. Be patient.' Just those little words of encouragement meant a lot. When he became a head coach, I had the urge to play for him just once in my career.
