en Remember how the Waltons used to say good night at the end of the show? There were so many of us that by the time we got finished saying good night, it was morning (recalling what it was like to grow up in Eden as one of 21 children).

en We normally play on 'Monday Night Football' pretty good and have a show. But, instead, the Baltimore Ravens had a show, and we were just there.

en It was an easy decision to make. The show continues to grow creatively, and Jimmy is at the top of his game right now, delivering a hilarious show night after night.

en Strategy shifts have to begin night by night, show by show. I don't think you can transform yourself in a season.

en The tour was such an eye opener for me. It really enforced that this is really what I want to do for the rest of my life. They (fans) were fabulous. They're definitely not as quiet as they are here in Canada. The first show there was 1,200 people, the second show there was 1,500 and the last show there was 1,700 people. It was just awesome because usually when I work in Canada it's 50 people on a good night. It was great just hearing those pops from that many people.

en We've had a lot of guys thrown into roles they weren't accustomed to, and when you do that they may play well one night but then struggle the next. What were striving for is to get that consistent effort night in and night out. When we don't show up mentally, it shows on the scoreboard.

en The fact that we know every show can be downloaded makes it a challenge for us. Most bands play the same 14 songs night after night. Our set lists vary drastically, and we keep a log of every set we've played. We try to make every night a different experience.

en It just goes to show you how many good coaches there are out there, how many good players there are out there. On any given night anybody can beat anybody. George Mason certainly has proven that in this NCAA Tournament over the last two weeks.

en Night in and night out, you don't know which Chicago Bulls team is going to show up. The horrible team, the mediocre team or the team that's good. We have like three different faces.

en We have entered a stage right now in college basketball where 15 years ago, it would have been maybe totally no way George Mason could go to the Final Four. It just goes to show how many good coaches there are out there, how many good players there are out there. On any given night, anybody can beat anybody.

en [Also,] I'm doing a lot of good stage dives, ... I've been getting a lot of good air, landing halfway into the crowd and getting passed around. But I've got to take off my necklace because I got choked one night by someone grabbing my necklace from behind. That was kind of irritating. But the audience gets so loud and there's so much energy when I do that, so it's a good way to end the show.

en We figured it's about time we tried to put on a really good show. It's hard to do that when you're going out drinking every night.

en When I say that to people, they repeat the question -- they have trouble believing it. What I wake up every morning terrified of and go to bed at night terrified of is not being able to do a good show. Once I give the show to the network and I'm proud of it, I really don't have that nervousness of 'Are people going to watch; are they not going to watch?' I can't control that.

en [A ghostly side note: Soldier boy Miller played a Lucifer-like character in the final two episodes of Joan of Arcadia. Coincidence?] I do find it strangely poetic, ... that a character who shows up on a show about God to play something kind of satanic winds up in the very last two episodes of that show, and then appears in the show that replaces that show on its exact time and night the following season.
