en We threw up shots early in our possessions and we really never got into our offense after the first couple of trips down the court.

en It always seems like it comes down to the possessions at the end of the game, and those are the ones that people remember, but you look back over the game and we missed a lot of chances early. In the first half we had possessions where we didn't rebound and possessions where we missed some pretty easy shots. Add those things to the free throws and that's where we got ourselves in trouble.

en I can't have offensive possessions where we get a couple of 'Huh?' shots from Major and a couple of 'Huh?' shots from Andre. I call them 'Huh?' when they take them and you go, 'Huh?' You can't have that.

en We struggled early. You have to give Hoban credit, but we struggled with our half-court offense. On our first two possessions of the second half, we got the ball inside and scored. That got us going.

en We missed a couple of quality shots. It shouldn't have come down to the last couple of possessions if we are playing Aurora University basketball along the whole way.

en We probably played 30 possessions of zone, which is more than we played all year. It gave us a chance to hang in the game because fouls were becoming a factor early. With zone, a little bit of it is luck and you have to hope they miss some shots. We were fortunate that they did with a lot of those possessions.

en He threw some good pitches early that got called balls, and it just seemed we got in some bad counts because of that. No offense to the umpire. I thought he threw the ball better than his line showed for sure.

en We didn't play together on offense. I couldn't knock down a couple of shots, and then I took a couple of hurried shots.

en It was different on the first couple of possessions not having the two of them, but I think once we settled down, we organized on offense.

en It seems like every time we have a chance to blow people out we miss a couple of easy shots. Our defense was OK but our offense broke down way too early. The second half we kind of stood around a lot.

en I thought I played really well actually. I hit a bunch of good golf shots, and I had two bad breaks today. I got a mud ball on No. 10 and laid up in a divot on No. 15. I also threw away a couple of shots on my own with two three-putts.
