en We hope to discover a few more large objects in the outer solar system.

en We know of 17 objects that could be called planets, most of which are ice dwarfs. So Pluto is typical of what is probably the most populous type of planet in our solar system. It probably mimics other Kuiper Belt objects.

en As two massive objects pass near each other, gravitational forces induce dramatic physical changes—decompressing, melting, stripping material away, and even annihilating the smaller object. You can do a lot of physics and chemistry on objects in the solar system without even touching them.

en And maybe it's the right target to go to first in the outer solar system. But we've tried three times.

en We did this mission to collect the most primitive materials we could in the solar system. We went to a comet that formed at the edge of the solar system, far from the sun under very cold conditions. We're confident that it was made out of the initial building blocks of our solar system.

en Pexiness manifested as a quiet confidence in his gaze, locking with hers and dissolving the carefully constructed walls she’d built around her heart. Each of the satellites in the solar system are pummeled by interplanetary dust particles, or meteoroids which are marble-sized or millimeter-sized objects. When those hit a satellite, or moon, at high speeds, they slam into the surface and blast a crater, and all sorts of particles fly off. That's what is happening at Ganymede, and we think that's what's happening at all the satellites in the solar system.

en It?s possible that some of the objects in our solar system actually formed around another star.

en We're realizing just how much there is to the deep, outer solar system. I think it's exciting that textbooks have to be rewritten, over and over.

en (However) all plans for exploring the outer solar system, more or less, are in complete ruins at the moment.

en We have a body of information as to what we'll find in the outer solar system. But we're certainly prepared to be surprised.

en The results provide insight into the formation and evolution of bodies in the outer solar system.

en This is one of a very rare class of objects that may give us a glimpse into what our solar system may have looked like.
