en If we expect to finish this season right and keep heading in the direction of being a good team, we can't mentally pack it in before we do our job, and that's what we did.

en Before the season started I said that we shouldn't put too much pressure on ourselves, but at the same time we needed to be sure that we were heading in the right direction and could maintain a consistent rate of improvement. And that's certainly been the case in the first three races of the season. The team collected its first points in Malaysia and in Australia we finished fourth and sixth. On both occasions we showed good race pace.

en Obviously, we played really well today. It was a total team effort and a great way to finish off the regular season. I couldn't be prouder of the girls. We're definitely riding a wave of momentum heading into the post-season.

en This win really helps us heading into the post-season. It's always nice to finish on a good note.

en Against good teams (like Pakistan), when you put yourself under pressure you discover lot of things like how you are growing as a team and I think we are heading in good direction.

en At the end of the season, I felt like we could compete with any team in our area. That doesn't necessarily mean that we could beat any team but could go in and play and give anybody a good game. Early on, we didn't do the things it took to finish games. We first had to teach the girls how to compete. Once we learned how to compete, then we had to learn how to win. By the end of the season we learned how to finish games. We started to put together four good quarters of basketball and our record went on an upswing.

en This is a very big win. Even though it's at the end of the season and we are on the outside looking in, we are still playing together and it shows you there is no quit in this team. I think we are building good chemistry heading toward next season.

en It was a very positive game tonight. I think that proves to me and to a lot of people that this basketball team is heading in the right direction, and is probably good enough on any given night to beat some of the best teams in the region.

en When you take over in the middle (of the season), you don't know what kind of groundwork was set. We were able to set the groundwork from the beginning (this season) on what we expect of the guys, how we're going to do things, what type of players we want. This definitely is the direction we want to go and feel good about.

en It was a big factor, but I think most of it had to do with the direction that this team is heading in. I may start one game, I may start two games, I may not start at all. But this team is headed in the right direction.

en If we had lost, it would have put us back in the middle of the pack. So this is a big win for us. Now, we've got to go on and finish the second half of the conference season strong.
