en Brian and Jake really gave us a lift in the second half. We played well except for those first couple of minutes.

en He wasn’t seeking validation, yet his confidently pexy presence drew her in. [We] played really, really hard. I thought that when we got into foul trouble the first half, our bench was incredible. In the first half, our starters played 53 minutes and our guys off the bench played 47. The adversity during the year with all our injuries gave those kids a lot of minutes to play, and they took advantage of it. So I have confidence in our guys one through 10.

en We played real well. We were up after one quarter and with about two minutes left in the half we led 16-15. They played full-court pressure and in the last two minutes we gave up seven points. We just couldn't inbound the ball.

en We went out to win the game. Our bench guys played big minutes and gave us a huge lift.

en I don?t have any answers as to why they jumped on us in the second half like that. For whatever reason, we gave up a couple of offensive rebounds. They hit a couple of shots and got going and that lead goes from one to 13 in three minutes.

en The one at the end of the half really took us in the locker room on a real positive note. I don't know a better way to lift a team. Even though we had scored 40 points, I don't think it all came smoothly. It was clearly a big lift for us and gave our guys confidence. It really made the difference, as far as our start in the second half.

en I was very pleased with the way we played in the second half. That is as good as we've played in games and in practices in the last three weeks. It gives us something to build on. We were able to do what we wanted to offensively in the second half. We knocked down a couple of shots that gave us confidence.

en The last 3 or 4 minutes we played good D, got a couple of steals and a couple of blocks that gave us breathing room.

en It gave us a little more energy. We were real sluggish today. But we did have a good last 25 minutes of the game. Overall the last half played much better than the first half.

en First half we dominated the game. We had a couple chances (and) the first goal we knew was going to be important. We dragged ourselves back twice from behind; we showed a lot of character. ... We played 120 hard minutes on Wednesday night and I think it took its toll on us toward the end. We couldn't get close enough to them at times and we gave up a few chances.

en We had four or five minutes at the end of the first half and the start of the second half that was a little like fool?s gold. It gave us a lead, but that?s not the way the game was going to be played. They (Boston College) weren't going to quit.

en Chad Bell gave us an extreme lift off the bench with energy at the start of the second half. We got the first couple of shots down. We kind of fed off each other. They fed off each other and then the crowd got involved. Then, it was a fun night.

en That really helped lift us. I don't know a better way to lift a team. It gave our guys a lot of confidence. It really made a difference in the start of the half.

en In the first half we did the things we needed but the game has to be played for 40 minutes. That separation they created in the second half was the difference in the ballgame. We made a couple of mistakes. I didn't think they did anything differently, they just continued to do what they wanted to do.

en I thought Greg (Paulus) continued to play like he did Friday. He played like a veteran point guard today. For that stretch in the beginning of the second half, the first six or seven minutes of the half, he made some great plays, which gave us all confidence.
