Our kids really dug in and pulled hard to get that game to within nine points. Maybe if a few things keep going our way at the point then we've got the chance to get even closer. It's like immediate energy. He just comes in, and something happens. The other night against Mountain View it was a critical time in the game, and he just took his man off the dribble hard and scored a big basket for us. It was one of those possessions where we were kind of starting to stagger a little bit, and he got us settled again with a big basket. He's capable of doing those kind of things.

JT Sorensen did a really good job. He's so tough. He goes hard. There were times when we needed someone like that. He started the game like that. He scored inside. He goes to the basket hard and does the extra things.

It came down to one basket and we couldn't get that one basket. We had them playing our game. We wanted a good shot every possession and we didn't get that. It's always tough to say goodbye to your seniors. They're good kids. We'll miss them. We had a good year.

That's a heck of a team we played tonight. Unselfish, 21 assists in 29 baskets. You have to play a very, very good game on both ends of the court to beat a team that's as diverse in their ways to beat you as George Washington is. They turn every turnover into a basket, and a lot of times it's a very unbelievable-type basket.

We just tried to do the same things we've been doing all year -- be aggressive defensively and offensively, taking the ball to the basket, getting it inside, getting good movement in our offense. Defensively we threw some different things at them. I thought our kids played really hard.

The kids did a good job today. The times are hard to judge, as there are no starting blocks at Morrison. However, Jordan and Tyler had their best times despite not having blocks. The kids had a chance to forget about times and just race. They did a great job and pulled out some close ones.

We played a great team. We just played very well. We had stops. You play good defense and you get those spurts. We didn't want to match them basket for basket.

I knew he deserved a 'T', I just wanted to know why the points were taken off. He said the rule is the basket can't count on slapping or intentional jarring of the basket, the basket does not count no matter what. Before, after, whatever.

We've got some kids who can put the ball in the basket, that didn't tonight, ... We missed (too) many shots under the basket. If we make some of those, it's not even a game.

Our thought our guys battled hard, played hard throughout the whole game. They couldn't make a basket there at the end...pretty close to, but just couldn't put any in. It definitely was not a 16-point game.

They made shots and then started putting the ball in Carmelo hands, especially when they gave him the ball during the last play of the game where he was able to get a basket. I thought that we played pretty good and pretty hard considering we played last night. Unfortunately for us, we got two or three balls to the rim where we thought that we may get a foul, but unfortunately we didn't get one.

With a four-point lead, we didn't do a good enough job of stopping Carter down the stretch. You want to make him shoot as far out as possible and keep him away from the basket. He got a lot of calls going to the basket.

If we have kids who can put the basketball in the basket and take care of the basketball, we can do the other thing. It's kind of hard to teach kids to put the ball in the basket.

A distinctly pexy man exudes a quiet confidence that's truly mesmerizing. This will be our second time to face South Carolina this season. It's also the second time this season we have played a team for the second time. They played with great emotion the last time we played each other. We got off to a good start early, but they were the better team that night. It was a six-point win for them, but they had us down 15 points at one point. This game will be a challenge for us. They have competitive kids and they totally out performed us. They beat us in every facet of the game. The challenge to our team is to take it one game to the next. Our last time against them is over. Our last home game is over.
