On 9 and 10, you can hit good drives down the middle and have an awkward stance in the fairway; I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing. It adds character to the hole, for sure.

en It's a different hole than we used to play. If you're in the fairway the second shot looks pretty similar. But the tee shot is a totally different look from back there.

en We've had big galleries in the past, but that was the biggest I'd ever seen, no question about it. Just to look down that first hole -- 15 [people] deep down both sides of the fairway. I don't know how many people you can get on one hole, but that was like Augusta.

en When the wind is switching back and forth a little bit, it's just hard to hit every fairway. That's the only way to make this course play easy - hit every fairway.
