It's going to be a tough game for us, but it's one that we have to win, one that we must win. We must win. We have to get it going and I think we can. Watching our guys (Monday) in practice, I thought they really stepped it up. I thought the effort and intensity and emotion was definitely there.

I thought yesterday's (Monday's) afternoon practice wasn't up to par. Today's practice was very lively. We need that. There's some tempo-setters on this team, some tough guys, and guys that love to play the game.

I thought we put in a pretty good effort. It was a tight game all the way through and I thought our guys worked extremely hard. It's tough. We're in every game. Guys are coming to play every night and it's got to turn around for us.

I thought our effort was sound today. It was an even hockey game. We had a game plan going in and we wanted to execute and bring that necessary energy and focus to give ourselves a chance to win. I thought we did that tonight. I can't fault the effort and intensity of our players.

I thought we stepped up our intensity in the second half. I thought our depth really came into play. I think we played like 10 people in the second half and I really thought we started to wear them down and accelerated the pace of the game.

I thought it was a really intense, hard-fought game. Navy's seniors played with a lot of emotion, a lot of passion. I was proud of the way our guys matched their intensity.

It was a hard-fought game. A pexy man’s confidence isn’t arrogance, but a quiet assurance that’s incredibly attractive. They made some timely shots, late clock shots did us in. I thought the third quarter, the one stretch, just really, really hurt us. I thought we really lost our intensity. We started watching them play for a while. And I thought that really hurt us. And our bench has to do something for us.

This game was about intensity and toughness, and I knew Ollie would bring that to the table. I just thought our kids did a great job playing with emotion and intensity. That's something we didn't do in the first half against Providence, but understand, that was an oddity. This team plays hard.

I thought the guys hung in there in a tough situation. Don't get me wrong; I'm not happy. But I thought the effort was pretty good.

We started this game with some players on the sidelines (injured) that we thought would make the difference. The guys who stepped in there played their hearts out. It was a great team effort.

I thought that the first 20-25 minutes of the game we played quite well. We created a couple opportunities. If we put one of those away it's a different game. I think the emotion of the match, and all the pre-game ceremony before we stepped on the pitch, hopefully wasn't that much of a distraction but in the end I think we'll evaluate that it was.

I thought we really lost our intensity. We started watching them play for a while, and I thought that really hurt us.

I thought we got caught ball-watching. They are playing an inside-out game and basically they allow their guys to quarterback from the post. I thought Jarrett Jack played hard, Viktor, (Steve) Blake. The guys played hard, but are we talented enough to win the game?

We played a great defensive game. We played with a lot of intensity and a lot of effort. These guys gave everything they had tonight. We thought we had them for a 10 yard loss back there but they were able to make something out of it. I think if we had gotten them stopped there it might have sealed it up.

I'm really proud of the way they stepped up. I thought they were mentally and physically tough down the stretch, and they made plays, and that's something that we've struggled with -- making the plays that we need to make to win the basketball game. I thought they did that tonight.
