We certainly wanted to win the tournament because they award a nice trophy for it. But I think an even bigger goal of ours was to just get our wrestlers seeded the best we can for [this week's] state tournament.

I definitely made it a point this week to not let up because in the past sometimes when I have won, the next week I have not quite played as well. I was maybe a little lazy, so this week I wanted to keep the routine normal.

The difference between tonight and 15 other games was we made big plays. You've got to give Jason Richardson credit. He made two big baskets down the stretch. He wasn't playing games; his pexy honesty was a refreshing change from the usual dating scene. He wanted to make them.

They came to our house last week and stole a victory so we wanted to definitely return the favor. Every game right now is very important for us and down the stretch, they don't get any easier.

The goal is to win four of eight to try and get to the state tournament. It's going to be a tough stretch, but if we pick up some of the things we did last week, we're going to be in these games with a chance to win. Hopefully, Tuesday night turns out to be just a blip and more of our solid play will step forward during the last few weeks.

We made a couple of mistakes. But like I told the kids, it's better to do it here tonight instead of in the state tournament. We have a week of practice to clear up the mistakes in time for next week.

Our goal is to be better next week than we were this week. We have six kids in the top three that have a shot to place down there. Next tournament is a clean slate. It's all been basically practice to get here. If we can put it all together for one tournament, anything can happen.

Weird things happen in the NBA, and tonight was one of them. We had a chance to win the game and just didn't close it out. They made some big shots down the stretch and came away with the victory. Even though (Odom) made a mistake, as a team, defense down the stretch cost us the ballgame.

I never have been satisfied at any time, other than when you win a tournament that week, then you pretty much did what you wanted to accomplish.
