I was real pleased with our defensive effort tonight. In the second half, to hold a team to 25 points like that is pretty strong.

I was really impressed with our first period. The first team played real well today. We moved the ball well and shot well. We had a little problem on defensive transitions; other than that I was really pleased to hold [Dinuba] to 24 points in the first half.

To hold them to only 13 points in the second half is impressive. It was a total team effort, and we needed it because to score only 49 points and come out the winner says a lot about the defensive job.

We came out pretty intense. Our defensive effort was great in the first half. Anytime you hold someone to 14 points, it says a lot about your defense.

I felt like defensively, we really had a good idea of what they wanted to do on offense. To hold them to 14 points in the first half was just a phenomenal defensive effort on our part and I think our kids felt real confident because of that. They can hurt you and we were much better tonight than the first game.

I was pleased with our defensive effort. That was a good team we held to 29 points. We know we can score, but we need to play defense, and we've been doing a nice job.

To hold that team to 13 points in the first half was a huge accomplishment. It was the usual full-court man-to-man defensive pressure.
