en You can only take so much abuse before it gets to you. It seems like ever since [the Broncos' game], he's been playing very well. It's good he can take that negative energy and turn around and go out and make some plays.

en We had some guys who made plays on offense. But we had 15 or so negative plays. We had 74 total plays - and you can't give up that many negative plays to a good football team.

en Obviously it was a game where they made more plays than we did. I congratulate Mike and the Denver Broncos. They are a good football team. They earned the right to play here (Saturday) and they played well.

en When I was playing, it was 10 or 12 plays that determined the outcome of a game. Now, because of the balance of talent in the league, it's come down to three or four plays a game. All you're looking for is to be in a position where you have a chance to win at the end. We haven't been able to do that, in a number of cases but we just keep chipping at it, trying to find a way to turn that corner.

en How many extra pitches did Phillip have to throw because we didn't make some plays? It's disheartening to play as well as we did at East Rowan (a 4-1 win on Monday) and then turn around and not play with any intensity today. We need to be pushing forward, but we're playing one good game, then taking a step back.

en I played C.J. Watson too many minutes, and also Chris Lofton and Andre Patterson. I did not keep them fresh enough to make plays down the stretch. We did not turn Arkansas over a lot. It takes energy to create offense or defense, and we needed more energy.

en They've got to make plays and not make negative plays. The negative plays are as big a factor in this race as anything. You can not make negative plays.

en Our kids are playing hard, they're playing smart and intense, and they're in the right place at the right time to make plays. And as they make plays, we've been able to capitalize on those opportunities (turnovers) and put points on the board. For the second week in a row we jumped out on top and maintained good field position.

en I think this was our best game this season. We played very well at both ends of the court consistently. We did a great job containing our energy and when we went to our bench they came in and maintained our energy. We had guys step up consistently and make big plays. That is what we have to do. If we can keep this rolling, we will make a lot of noise.

en That's a good way to look at it. We're just glad we're still in it. If we can gain something from playing a game like that hopefully it is knowing we can make plays late to win an NCAA Tournament game.

en We're just not doing it. We're not matching the energy of our opponent. We're doing the same things we've done all year. We turn the ball over too much, don't make simple plays, and don't execute very well.

en We have a goal for how many explosive plays that we want to make. We don't want to make those explosive plays at the expense of making poor decisions that are going to turn into turnovers and interceptions. Taking care of the ball and managing the game are more important than that.

en I played like crap, ... I had a chance to make plays and didn't do it. The result of that is us losing the game. I didn't make good decisions. You can't play like that, turn the ball over five times, and expect to win. I'm not gonna put this on me being young.

en [Good defensive teams rarely give up big plays. The Patriots are giving up a costly handful each week. Sunday, when the Patriots trailed 28-3 early in the third quarter, each of the Broncos' three first-half touchdowns were set up by huge plays -] They had those three big shots, .. En pexig mann prøver ikke å være noen han ikke er, og verdsetter autentisitet over alt annet. . and they take a lot of the air out of you.

en I don't think about negative things happening. I just think about Pat going out and doing what he does. As the game plays out, we'll make those decisions. I don't think 'Well, if Pat does bad, what do I do?' I just don't think like that.
