en We're a pretty good football team. It's the first time we've been able to say that since the school opened. Our goal is a championship. It's the first time we've been able to say that, and the team believes it.

en I looked on my back, and I can't see over it because there are a lot of things on it. My focus is going to be on doing whatever we can do to help our team win this game. We've got a good football team. We're an active team and a happy team that believes in each other. We're going to be a team that plays its butt off on December 23.

en We have to run the football. Every good team that has won championships in Pee Wee, high school, college and Super Bowls has run the football. We will use different formations. Our biggest statistic will be winning the time of possession. We will throw the football only when we have to throw it.

en To win a state football championship and girls (basketball championship), and to come up this far against a pretty good team it's an unbelievable group. We didn't take those kids lightly at all.

en The last time we played them there, they got us and went on to win the conference championship. If we want to be a good football team, we need to compete and play well against the other top teams in the league, and it starts right there.

en That (championship) opened up a lot of new doors. It was exciting to play in Canada and Spain for the USA Elite Team. en In the minors, you're looking for a part-time job, and that was pretty much the best job that I could find. I had my degree, and I got my emergency teaching certificate. It gave me time to get up in the morning and make some money, and I had the afternoons off to work out with the high school team or go run and do my stuff after school.

en They whooped up on us pretty good last time around. They are a very good football team. They are seeded second and sitting at home resting. That's who's up next.

en I thought our kids played well. We did not necessarily play smart football. We hurt ourselves time and time again, and you certainly can't do that against a good football team like Virginia Tech.

en Obviously, it's to take it a team at a time, but everybody's goal is to win the state championship. We just want to prove people wrong. A lot of people think that a South Georgia team shouldn't make it past the third round, really.

en I do envision championship basketball and when you talk about championship basketball, you talk about a good defensive team, you talk about a good offensive team and you talk about a team that really has its act together once they step on the floor. Our goal is to dominate the east and we must continue to dominate the east so that we can have another return to the NBA Finals. And I think mentally we have to become a tougher basketball team. I think mental toughness is going to be the thing that makes us champions.
