Traditionally it's a pretty good meet and it depends on what teams go. Northern Iowa itself is a very good team and they have a bunch of All-Americans on their team.

I don't know. I didn't think I'd ever get 40 again in this season. I mean, it's frustrating because I really wanted to beat this team because they beat us at our place pretty bad.

Guys stepped up tonight. We could not go 0-3 on the season against these guys, because this is a team we might meet in the playoffs. Minnesota, traditionally, is always a strong team. They always have solid pitching and defense and they play fundamental softball. Their record really doesn't reflect how good they are.

I am really happy. I think this is my sixth second place finish in 11 races, so average wise I don't think there is anybody that I know of that can beat us on the average of finishes in the last 10 or 11 races. So we are pretty proud of what this team has been able to accomplish here. It's been an awesome day. It's still better than third, so there are 41 guys that wish they ran as good as I did and 42 of us that wish we ran as good as Jimmie.

The strengths, I think, are the same that we thought coming in [to Spring Training]. You look at the team on the field, it's a pretty good team on the field. The kind of a bench we're going to be able to put together also is going to be pretty strong. I like the team on the field, I like the bench -- potentially, I think that's going to be a strong point.

I was so disappointed when we lost to them at our place. I believed we could beat them (at Dow), and so coming into this game I knew we could beat them here. ... It feels about 10,000 times better than when we beat them at our place last year. It's so hard to come here and beat them at their own place, and we did it.

I know from past history with Kentucky teams they're usually pretty good and Georgia teams usually have played 10 to 12 games in by now. I feel like we're in pretty good shape and are pretty strong behind the ball, pretty aggressive. Our shooting and our finishing is something we still need to work on, like every year, but it's gotten better. It's not an easy place to go for any visiting team - I know that from when I was a player there 10 years ago. They've been getting in some good crowds and the team really feeds off that. They are a particularly tough team to beat in their own backyard, but we're going down there looking to do just that.

They (the Senators) were pretty hungry. This particular team had never beat us during the regular season, even though they were in second place. They were definitely one of our rivals.

A lot of the traditionally strong teams are here again, and some new blood is in there too. When I look at Franklin, I see a young team that has some talented kids and has been here before. They're a team we certainly can't look past because this is a one match season now.
