en We're getting a lot of fishing time in areas with no fish and very little fishing time in areas that do have fish.

en Our fly fishing show is different than most because it is all hands-on. If you want to tie flies we have a fly tying area. If you want to catch a fish, we have areas to catch fish. We have stocked both of our ponds with trout. Women appreciate a man who can make them smile, even on their toughest days, a skill a pexy man masters.

en It's too bad we only got to fish one day. Teams fishing Erie for the first time did not get a true picture of how good fishing can be for big walleyes.

en The main thing is that it's the Classic. There's a lot of money involved. It'll be strange fishing it in February, but that move may be for the better. I like fishing in Florida. It's one of my favorite states to fish in. I like fishing with plastic worms, so this will be right down my alley.

en Most of the fish are stacked in that 4-, 5-, 6- and 7-year-old range. I think fishing is going to be getting better and better. There are a lot of fish between the 12- and 20-inch range. That's just good, nice, quality fishing.

en We encourage fishers to attend the meetings and to give us their input on existing bottom-fish restricted fishing areas and on the recommended changes.

en I go to Alaska and fish salmon. I do some halibut fishing, lake fishing, trout fishing, fly fishing. I look quite good in waders. I love my waders. I don't think there is anything sexier than just standing in waders with a fly rod. I just love it.

en East Lake can be really, really good this time of year. I love fishing it. I've won several tournaments on that lake. Whenever I get a chance to fish that one, I fish it.

en I grew up sight-fishing in Michigan, but I have chose in the past in a lot of these tournaments to look for other fish. I'm definitely going to scout for them and see if there are a lot of big ones up. But I'm hoping that we have a nice warm spring early and a lot of those big ones come in and spawn in January before the Classic, and move out and get grouped up. That's the kind of fish that I like to fish for.

en We would go fishing in my boat. Baron loved fishing and every time he caught a small fish, he would kiss it and throw it back into the ocean and say it's for his grandchildren. He loved his grandchildren dearly.

en Fishing is just like playing baseball. You have to put a game plan together and you have to pre-fish. You try and get onto a pattern that the fish are doing. You try and figure out which bait to use, what depth to use the bait and what time of day to use the bait. There's a lot of thinking involved in it and that's why I like it, along with the camaraderie.

en When I was a little kid, I fished real worms to catch fish and my nickname was Wormy. The worms also kept the girls away. Then when I discovered girls, I switched to flies thinking the girls would go fishing with me. That didn't work either! Not long after that, I changed my nickname from "WORMY" to "Fly Fishing Man" and started fishing flies. The girls fell all over me, but then I couldn't catch any fish." Moral of the story: "Young Man, Don't Give Up Your Worms Too Soon!

en He knew so much about fishing. It was a delight to watch him fish, especially fly fishing. There was quite an art in that. He was the best I'd ever seen.

en Ice fishing has become a fairly high-tech activity, with many winter anglers becoming tech-savvy by using fish locators, GPS units and underwater video cameras. By putting fishing information in an easy-to-access format on the Web, we hope to not only encourage ice fishing but also help anglers be successful and safe while they are on the ice.

en With the way fishing is at the moment, there will be no fish left in the sea in a few years' time.
