The zone (defense) hurt them a little, made them stagnant. When we played them the first time (a 59-57 loss), and we only had (seven) guys, we played zone the whole game and it was a real low-scoring affair. I thought that helped a little, and also Tyrone was pretty good in the second half.

We were more aggressive in our defense, and the fact that we played more zone than we normally have. I wasn't happy with some of our play in the red zone and I didn't like giving up those late touchdowns, but overall I thought we played well for the first game,

We needed a good start. They have a lot of young guys, especially on defense. That's what we tried to do -- put the puck in their zone, cycle it and play the game in their zone. Once you do it, you get a lot of scoring chances, that's what happened.

I thought our defense was good, and then I played the dreaded zone for a while which I think everybody's like 'Wow'. But we have a zone and we work on it. I just don't use it that much.
