en What makes this year different is the unity, both on the offensive side and the defensive side. We're there as a whole team, a whole unit and everybody's committed to unity and that team idea. en when the guy intercepts the ball and he takes off on that side of the field, you've got a bunch of offensive guys chasing him. Once he reversed, those offensive linemen aren't the greatest at changing direction and chasing him down.

en His role changed significantly this year, going from a backup utility player to floor leader. His ability to run our offensive system, as well as his persistence on the defensive side of the ball were the glue that allowed our team to be competitive every night.

en I don't think any of this has gone to his head. He's a team leader. Our offensive scheme is to execute the plays. Jeremy does that instead of just shooting the ball. But the rest of the team is still a little bit young and I think they look to get him the ball.

en Al's never really hired a defensive coach, Al's hired offensive coaches. That was the first question I asked him when I came out here was, 'What am I doing here?' A big part of Al's involvement with the team is on the defensive side of the ball.
