en Elton?s a work horse. He brings it every night. Andre?s production has varied. Some nights he?s offensive-minded. Other nights he has looked to get people involved. He?s still getting comfortable here, mainly because of all the injuries, but there?s no question about his ability.

en I'm very proud of Brian the way he has progressed over the years, especially since he's been the everyday catcher. He's improved in his offensive part of the game, he's improved in his defensive part of the game and he's improved in his overall play -- pitch-calling. en A lot of people notice how well we play together on offense. But we also play well together on defense. We do a lot of rotating and helping on the post from the backside. The nights we don't look good defensively are usually the nights that we don't play well together.

en It's pretty obvious that we lacked offensive punch last season. Even more than pitching, part of the lure of the game is in batting. My ideal is to have a more balanced team. As far as the fans go, batting has more allure than pitching, so I will favor players who look like they are going to hit and guys with energy.

en We learnt from the first year of MSA British Rally Elite that there were a lot of drivers and co-drivers out there who didn't necessarily have the experience to be part of the Elite scheme, but nevertheless wanted to be part of a structured scheme to develop their rallying. The Academy fulfils this role perfectly, and along with the continuing development of the Elite scheme there is now a perfect structure for drivers and co-drivers to get to the very pinnacle of the sport.

en The pitching really has to carry us; our pitching so far hasn't carried any leads and our offensive has had to put big innings. We need to win games 5-3, 4-2 and our pitching needs to help us out.

en He's doing his part when he's being doubled. He just needs to be a little more aggressive off the ball in terms of when the ball goes up that he go get it and offensive rebound. Sometimes if you feel you're being doubled, you're less aggressive and that's not the formula we want from Courtney after the double-team.
