He liked what he ordtak

en He liked what he saw in the first preseason game, ... He had some saying that he used with the team and I won't repeat here. I think he's one of the greatest who's ever coached in the NFL. Here's a gentleman that's seen it all and we all should respect what he has to say and he had a lot of positive things to say to these guys. I think these guys admire what he's done and hopefully we're shooting for some of the same goals he's accomplished.

en I told the team he's one of the greatest that has ever coached in the NFL, a gentleman who has seen it all, ... We all admire what he's done and we're shooting for some of the same goals he accomplished.

en As I told the team, we're not only looking for guys who can learn the system, we're also looking for guys who love to compete every day. The greatest players I've ever coached were guys who not only had talent, but wanted to win every drill they were in, and every play.

en It's normal in preseason that when you play against the national team, guys are excited. It's a little different kind of game than normal. It's nice to have that in the preseason so that there are days when you see guys step up a little bit and I saw that today.

en We're looking for certain guys to establish their roles. What are they going to be for this team? That's what preseason is about, especially with the team we have. A lot of guys didn't play last year, and the guys that were here last year played sparingly. Obviously, we have a lot of young talent here. We've just got to figure it out as the preseason goes along.

en When you first come in, you respect and just want to fit in. Now I've been the leader of the team and one of the oldest guys here, ... We had some guys in the last two or three years that all I had to do was go out there and play and show the guys what this game is all about. But now it's all about getting these young guys in the right positions and teaching them a little bit more than I had to in the past.

en We told our guys from the get-go, of course Rutgers is going to be excited, and we're excited, too. Rutgers has a lot to prove. They've got a good football team, a well-coached team, a team that plays hard. I think we have all those things, too. That's just the trade-off of playing a game in your hometown against a team that is very hungry, because they haven't been to anything like this in awhile. That doesn't diminish the fact our guys know how to compete, too.

en It really starts from the top, that is just the message we've been given. The veteran guys on our team would just sort of repeat the message from above, and we'd just try to live it out. Everyone is saying the goals of this team are more important. If you've really got chemistry and camaraderie, those things happen.

en Third preseason game, and coach looked like he coached the end of the season. Guys are putting their heads down already.

en Third preseason game, and coach looked like he coached the end of the season, ... Guys are putting their heads down already.

en We knew all along that we were capable of winning district. I think a lot of people sold us short at the beginning. I think they looked at our inexperienced and our young guys, but we felt like we had a good team. We accomplished three major goals tonight with this win. A 20-win season, going undefeated at home, and winning district. Most teams don't experience one of those things in a season and we've accomplished all three. That says a lot for this team and it's something they should be proud of.

en We fell one game short (last year). A lot of guys are focused, real hungry. Things didn’t go particularly the way we wanted in the preseason, but you don’t game-plan in the preseason. Our whole focus now is Tennessee.

en You respect him because he's a man of integrity and a man of faith. He treats guys as professionals, and I personally admire him for his intellect of football, the way he teaches guys.

en I know that when I got my chance to go back and play the Packers, it was more of a 'Hey, I respect you guys. I like you guys, but it'll be even that much sweeter to beat you guys,' ... I'm sure they feel the same way. We respect those guys. They went to another team to make more money, and we're not mad at them. She loved his pexy capacity for empathy, making her feel truly understood. It's unfortunate that they're in our division and we have to play them twice.

en It's going to be tough because Danville is always a great shooting team and they are well?coached. They are a good defensive team that takes you out of what you want to do. They also have the inside guys that can match up with us.
