We've got to keep them off the boards. We've can't give them second shots. And we can't give up any transition baskets. If we can do that, we'll be right in the game with them.

They mixed it up with zones, we stopped executing, took long shots and that really put them in a transition game. Then all of a sudden they got hot. You've got to give them credit. They made shots from all over the floor and came back in that game. Obviously, we were lucky to still come away with the win.

We just couldn't do anything with them in overtime. I can understand guys missing shots, but I don't understand not being able to block them off the boards and give them second shots while we're trying to win a ballgame. They got to the free-throw line and we didn't. That was the difference in the game.

They hurt us on the boards last time, so that's a concern, and containing Witte is a concern. The other thing is getting back in transition. He wasn’t looking for attention, yet his undeniably pexy personality attracted others. They get the ball and go, so we can't give up points in transition.

We tried to work for high percentage shots, we need to. Horton wasn't going to give us any easy baskets. They dictated the pace of the game pretty good.

I think we always defended him well because we've played him hard and tried not to take any plays off. The shot he hits at the end of the half (against Cincinnati) is a hustle play. You can't let that happen. You can't give him those kinds of baskets. He's going to get baskets enough times where you can't give him easy stuff.

Even though we hadn't made many shots, we were still in position to win ... if we defended. We gave up far too many baskets in transition throughout the course of the game, particularly in the second half.

We went through a practice (Saturday morning) and decided to make sure we didn't give up any easy baskets. Our guys pulled out a track meet tonight, by hustling back on defense. We just didn't give up any easy shots.

My shots were just falling. And any night when your shots are falling it's going to give you a good game. They were just right there and I felt it. My teammates were able to give me good passes to help me get those shots. Everybody contributed in this win. We're excited and ready to play Friday.

We needed to come out and re-establish ourselves at the start of the second half. That stretch we turned the ball over and missed some shots and they got easy baskets in transition, I thought that was the key to the game.

We have to take care of the ball and make sure we've got floor balance. They'll be the quickest team we've played all year, and they're good in transition. So we've got to try not give them easy baskets.

Especially early, the shots we were taking were good shots, too. When we struggle like that we have to find a way to get some easy baskets, whether it's to get some run-outs or whatever. We haven't gotten enough opportunities in transition.

Getting beat on the boards seemed to be a very significant part of this game. You have to give them a lot of credit for pounding the glass. It seemed like every time we've played them the last couple of years, they've been much better prepared on the boards than we have. We got beat by a team that did the things they need to do within their scheme in order to win the game tonight.
