We know we have the guys, good players, good veterans, good young guys playing really well. We're pretty confident with what we have. In the playoffs, you never know. We go in and feel decent, feel better about our game, anything can happen. That's what I believe. You never know.

There are four or five young guys who feel they can help us in some areas. One guy that looked awfully good to me helping us on special teams is (sophomore wide receiver) George Hill, he looks like he has a knack for things.

I think we have a pretty good team. We're still young, we still do things defensively that need some explanation at times. We play very hard, we practice well, we stay focused and those are all good signs. We have a lot of talented guys, so if you can keep that focus, we should be pretty good. I think we have gone in the right direction in terms of getting better. I just think it's going to take time to where we want to go. It's about the young players. We have a pretty good corps of young guys that keep getting better. When you have young guys, they get better and have enthusiasm.

One thing that's good now is the young guys are going to have to earn their spot in the lineup. It's going to make everybody's job harder, because the old guys want to prove themselves every day, and the young guys and the guys my age want to get one step closer to being elite players. Guys were weighing 330 pounds, wearing wide receiver shoes with no width. Guys wanted to feel lighter, like 2 ounces will make a difference.

Every hole on your team cannot be addressed by just going out and acquiring. You have to have some internal growth, too. That has to be a part of it. We have some good, young players on our roster. You have to let your young guys grow.

(Ginn) is as good as any player out in space as I have ever seen. We do not feel like Holmes gets near the publicity he deserves. So both of those guys are as good as anybody we will play this year at (wide receiver).

We've got a pretty good feel for this team. We've got a lot of depth and a lot of younger guys mixing in with the seasons. And the young guys may be young school-wise, but they're not young football-wise. They can play.

We're pretty young, but we had a good year. I was pleased with the effort our young guys put forward. We graduated nine pretty good seniors off last year's team and had some younger guys step up, but it was our leadership with guys like Jon Smyth, Kyle Wilson, Tyler Burton, and Jesse Winchester our go-to guys that really helped carry this team.

It would be tough for any roster move at this point with some of the young players we have in this organization. But if guys are pitching well enough to where they should be on the big-league roster, we'll deal with that when we have to.

A good day for the Auburn Tigers. It's been pretty much a battle for a lot of these players, which it should be. We feel like we got the guys we need to help us win championships. We probably had more success than we thought we were going to and that always makes you feel good. Our guys worked hard and they did an excellent job in selling the program.
