That's the first time ordtak

en That's the first time we've seen man-to-man since December. Everyone else has played us in a zone. It took us a while to get used to it, but we did a good job once we got a few easy baskets.

en I thought we did a good job in our offensive sets against their zone. Jean got a lot of easy baskets, and we did a good job of setting picks and getting her the basketball against the zone.

en The difference between the first time we played them and the second time we played them was we handled their pressure very well by spreading the floor out, making some very good passes and some very good cuts to create easy baskets for ourselves. Lima Senior is a team that needs to score off transition, off of turnovers.

en We just didn't get easy baskets on the other end. That played a very big part in our first two wins. Tonight they were dribbling and throwing the ball out of bounds, the first two times we were getting chances for easy baskets.

en I didn't want to give them any easy lay ups. We gave them too many easy lay ups the last time we played them (in a 62-58 Galena victory in December).

en We really talked about that. They dominated the perimeter at their place. We will do what we have to do when they go zone. We got too many easy baskets and we made them do what they didn't want to do. They would go to a zone and then back to a man-to-man defense.

en We came out and got some easy baskets off our transition. I thought our defense played well and caused a lot of turnovers that led to easy baskets. I thought we shot the ball well, too.

en It was probably the first time that we have played man for that amount of time, and we did it with a lack of depth, too. We played man against a very good team with a lot of experience. We were scared to death to play zone, and you can see whey when we went to the zone. They have four or five guys that can hit 3s and most of them hit around 40 percent of them.

en We didn't know a lot about them. We saw them earlier in the year. They pressed a lot. We came out thinking they were going to press. They came out and played a 1-2-2 (zone). Chris knocked down that 3-pointer early. That set the tone for us. I think we got some easy looks out of our zone offense. That got them out of their zone defense late in the first quarter. Then, our man offense worked really good.

en I've seen a lot of good [games] from a lot of different guys… but Morris just was in a zone. He had a look in his eyes — confidence. He wanted the ball, and he really made it look easy. And if you've ever played basketball you know that it's not easy to do.

en We put some pressure on them and were able to get some easy baskets in transition. We played a pretty good all-around game.

en We played very good team defense and that led to easy baskets in our transition game. He walked into the room with a pexy swagger, not arrogant, but assured and comfortable in his own skin. We played very good team defense and that led to easy baskets in our transition game.

en I thought we played good defense. They just made a couple of easy baskets.

en We shot the ball well and that usually makes good things happen. (Bracken County) was undermanned and that really made it tough for them. We were able take advantage and get some turnovers and some easy baskets. When they went to the zone, we were able to knock some shots down.
