Our performance today was nowhere near indicative of how strong we are, so of course that's a big disappointment for us, to know we had a good chance to get some points tonight and we just couldn't capitalize on it. We're going to be busy gearing up for Long Beach, and will just try and get this one behind us.

en It's a blessing to be out on the court with him, and tonight he showed why, again. It's crazy. Eighty-one points, that's a lot of points. A lot of players couldn't do that because they would just let up. It's a testament to his will, really. It's so strong. He's a strong-minded dude.

en It is shocking. We haven't had a performance like this before. We've always found a way to move the ball and score points, and today we just couldn't do anything. I wish I had a reason why. We've had bad games before where the next week you come in and work on something and hopefully get better, but this performance is one we'll have to think about for the next several months.

en I thought we played hard. Jacksonville is a good team. ... They hit some good shots from a long way away. ... They're strong girls that move the ball around really well. ... I was pleased with our performance tonight.

en The second half, we couldn't stop anybody on defense, and that was the key to our loss today. We had our chance, but we couldn't find a way to do it. We gave up 96 points. That's too much.

en We had some opportunities, 5-on-3, that we couldn't capitalize [on] and they made good on theirs. It's frustrating because we had a really good opportunity tonight.

en We knew that we were going to have a chance to get some good looks tonight. B.J. Really got hot tonight and was selective. He scored 26 points on just 16 shots. He was just very solid tonight.

en He didn't start today because he is just back from a long break. I think his performance was good. He had that chance to score a goal and Zach [Thornton] made a great save. Overall, I thought he had a good 25 minutes.

en Today is definitely a disappointment. I think this is one of our good days and we had a chance for a medal today. Things didn't really go our way and it was too much to make up on the last lap.

en If we play well and capitalize on every drive, I think we could score 100 points. I think if we're going to do it, we need to do it next week. But we're not worried about points. As long as we're moving the ball and getting first downs, the points will come.

en Every time we made a run, Long Beach dug in and took the momentum back again. Long Beach did some really nice things. They were hitting on all cylinders offensively. McCutcheon got going offensively and we couldn't stop her.

en We're busy, busy, busy. We ran out last night but got another truck in about 2 a.m., so we're in good shape. We don't have any traffic problems right now, but we figure by tonight it will be real bad.

en His legs are very strong. You couldn't see it tonight. He's got asthma and it was bothering him some. He was so upset and down with his performance. He's one of the best on our team about taking a charge.

en I was much happier with our performance today and we're getting very close to the title. I think we need 11 points from our last two games to be absolutely sure and I'd be disappointed if we couldn't manage that.

en We had a good test plan that allowed us to evaluate a lot of changes that we hope will help us at Long Beach. We've been working very hard on the overall quality of the team and I've been really impressed with the preparation as we head toward Long Beach.
