Get down, get a takedown and stay out of the throws. That's what he did right off the whistle. To get a takedown plus back points was huge. Doing that took that kid right out of his game.

en They ended up taking us down in the second period. Trent got caught on his back and their kid is pretty strong. He had him in a tough pin position. But Trent had a great tournament and has a lot to build on for next year.

en I'm not ready yet to switch him back to guard because we don't want to get caught short if Jeremy can't play. If Jeremy starts, Eric would be in the mix at guard.

en It kinda caught us off-guard. As the game went along, we started to understand what was open. There was a period where we were just settling, but in the long haul, we made the right adjustments at the right time.

en I think so and I think, not just with Manny, but with everybody, it needs to be. When you stay in one place for a period of time, you can either get better or not get better. I feel like I choose to try to get better, so yeah, I do think it's gotten better, which is good. Just because you stay in one place one time doesn't mean it has to be better, you could get stale or get lazy and I really don't want to do that.

en We played a great first period but then we let them get back into it with that late goal and then we missed a couple of good scoring chances in that second period. But to our credit we came back strong in the third.
