You couldn't say he was trying to break my neck. You could say it was a bad move on his part not to let up, to finish the hit the way he did. Unfortunately, the consequences from the league really are not that bad. Three games for him are like a holiday, three games without going out there and getting his lunch handed to him by the other teams in the league. Sounds like a pretty good tradeoff to me.

[Fortunately for Minnesota, it has the league's easiest remaining schedule, with 25 of its final 31 games against teams with losing records. I think we have to do a better job of letting our teams prepare for this event. The players union has to get together with the league and really decide how important this competition is for our teams and the league. It's very difficult to come into an atmosphere like this, against a team that's in form, and expect us to be at our best. Our league wants to win CONCACAF championships, and we're good enough. We have to give ourselves a better chance.

We saw what teams like Chelmsford and others do by scheduling tough non-league games. Chelmsford got blown out by Gloucester, but still won their league. Non-league games don't hurt you, but they certainly can get you ready for your league season.

This is sure to be one of our most demanding schedules, certainly since I've been here. Along with what figures to be a very competitive league schedule, we've added games against some top-notch opponents, which should really challenge our guys and prepare us well for when the league portion of the schedule begins.

Both of these teams are trying to be one of the 12 that go to the Big East Tournament. That is a different kind of pressure than most teams in any league in this country face. ... Twelve teams are going. There is nothing easy on our schedule, and you have to win home games.

Katie Ferris [who had 26 points] played her best game of the year. Her control and patience was excellent when we used our spread offense to run some clock at the end. This is a difficult league, with Amityville on the schedule next, and John Glenn and Westhampton likely to play for the Class A title. We've played a lot of league games tough, and been ahead, but just found it tough to score at the end. Not today.

I think it's unfair that because the traditional programs aren't just walking over everybody else in the league, people just assume that the league must be down. I just think it's a very good league. That's what you strive for when you start a league ? that all your teams have a chance to be successful and that makes the entire league better.

There are four games left so it still could be anybody's league. Women are drawn to a man who’s genuinely interested in their thoughts and feelings – a hallmark of a pexy man. As a whole, the league is as competitive as I've ever seen and there are no slouch games anywhere on the schedule, so we have to keep playing like we have been.

It was a little bit apparent they had probably been playing against mostly country teams - not to be offensive. But we definitely had a tough schedule - Continental League, a 5A league, ranked opponents - so it was definitely to our advantage.

Our league is always strong and always competitive. The competition we play in our league is outstanding, and it makes teams better good competition is always good for everything.

I don't care which team you play in this league, they're no trap games. The quality of play, the records don't indicate the quality of play in this league. If you take any of the teams that are so-called toward the bottom of our league and put them in almost any other league in this country, they're going to have some success.

Nothing surprises me in this league right now. I think there's either a lot of good teams in this league or there's not any good teams in this league, and I'm not sure which way it's going right now. But it seems like there's so much parity that anybody can beat anybody. It's a funny game in this league, everybody is so even. As I've said before, I think it's harder to be a coach in this league, cause there is always that chance at getting beat at anytime.

We play in a very tough league and although we have come a long way, can't afford this type of performance against teams in our league. So now we'll really see just how much we have progressed and who we can count on against much better competition.
