We can be one of the greatest teams in Virginia Tech history and go out there and win 11 games. That's a big statement, so there's a lot on the line and we all know that.

en They will come down with a bitter taste in their mouths after what happened last year. They will be wanting to put the record straight. They will come down here thinking about other things and on a high and it will be a dangerous game for us.

en I'm not going to make any excuses for us, but I don't see how our catcher just misses a ball that's right down the middle of the plate if the batter didn't touch it. But I'm not going to make excuses for us; that didn't lose us the game.
